Event of traditional peasant games in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba – The Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) Néstor P. Milián located in the community Zaporte in the municipality of Artemisa, will host the provincial event of traditional peasant games which are going to take place next Saturday 11of July.

Culinary event, horses´ races, greasy pole, championship of fishing and dominoes, chess games, competitions singing traditional music and also dancing it will be some of the activities that are going to take place simultaneously in various parts of the CPA with judges who will award the best competitors.

The activities will begin at 9:00 o´clock in the morning and will run throughout the day. All these activities are planned by the National Association of Small Farmers, ANAP, in the province as part of the actions agreed at the eleventh congress of the organization to strengthen the political work of its membership and also to salute the 62 anniversary of the attacks to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons.

The ANAP invites all the members of the different cooperatives, the peasants and their families and also some representatives of other organizations with which it has contractual relations to have a nice and lively time together to the country people family.
