For a more just society without violence against women

Woman is synonymous of delicacy, strength of spirit, boundless. In Cuba take decision along with the man in important tasks, at home, family and society. Much has been done and continues to rise in favor of being in any position to perform different roles alongside men without discrimination, in the same condition and quality of values, because she deserves by her own right, justice and equity.

Since the Revolution triumph on the plea of Moncada itself, Fidel Castro announced to the world the political will to fight and eliminate gender-based inequalities, hence, founded in 1961 the Federation of Cuban Women began to open opportunities for studies of personal and social development for women from an early age and create and respect the laws that punish all acts of violence and discrimination against women.

In addition, social support have no restrictions or limitations on freedoms for remote execution of corruption, abuse and exploitation.

To live in a fairer society is imposed more aware of each of the family members. To do this, the best weapons will be the understanding between partners, because domestic violence is the most common cause and is projected to different social spheres. Keep in mind that the consequences of violence are unforgettable, both physical injuries, psychological that get reaching or undervaluation loss of self-esteem and life then march toward a dead end.
