In respond to the heritage preservation

San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba – The World Heritage Committee in this town works for promoting and safeguarding the customs, traditions, dances and other identifying elements of the ariguanabense ccommunity culture

Estela Pérez, director of the Municipal Museum of History states that monthly commission, comprising officials from the local organ of the People’s Power, the Party and all the factors for maintaining traditions, including the roots of country music, for the sustainability of gender and the promotion of performers, composers and improvisers.

Also notes that the celebration of the International Biennial as the biggest event of the visual arts are preserved from the representation of humor, caricature artists and growers who put up the name of the Humor Villa. This event alternates with Humorangas and realization of follow festivals in the tradition dedicated to the patron of the town dating back to its founding on September 22nd in 1744.

The preservation of intangible heritage, highlights Estela Perez, is important because it responds to safeguard our culture and customs, traditions, dances identity of our people pass from generation to generation and are transmitted as imperishable values.
