Fidel lives in Marlon’s house

Artemisa, Cuba – The physical disappearance of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, filled the 11 year old boy, Marlon Méndez Cabrera who is resident in the municipality of San Antonio de los Baños, with dismay.

At number 5307 of the 72nd Street in that locality, as in many other Cuban homes, Fidel lives, because Marlon since he was 3 years old has been dedicated to collecting photos, newspaper clippings and books about the Eternal Commander.

On August 16, 2014 the child Marlon fulfilled one of his greatest dreams, for more than 3 hours was received by Fidel Castro with whom he shared anecdotes, experiences and hopes.

For Marlon Méndez Cabrera, the historical leader lives, he has not died, because the advices of that unforgettable afternoon are still alive in him, because according to his own words, Fidel is his idol.
