Rehabilitation services are boosted in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba – The operation of the health services in the rehabilitation rooms of the province of Artemisa shows this beginning of 2017 better results than in the same stage of the previous year.

Several equipment that remained inactive in 2016 due to the lack of spare parts, mainly from the European area due to the blockade of the United States against Cuba for more than half a century, are currently active thanks to the innovation of the technicians of the electro-medicine workshop.

Each health area of the territory has a rehabilitation room.

The municipalities of Guanajay, Güira de Melena, Alquízar, Bahía Honda and Mariel have each other one of these facilities, while Bauta, Caimito, San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa and San Cristóbal have two.
