In Artemisa Territorial Day of the Defense

Artemisa, Cuba – The analysis of the actions to confront the enemy in the initial stage of crisis and the transition to the state of war was the main theme that was tackled this February 19 in the Territorial Day of Defense that took place in the capital municipality of the province of Artemisa.

Among the key objectives to be taken into account for the development of this day were, first, achieve the participation of the staff in correspondence with the categories planned in the preparation activities, the realization of these with the management bodies in the execution of measures and the protection of the population against natural catastrophes.

This time also was created a plan of activities to be fulfilled by the Council of Municipal Defense, organizations, economic entities and areas of defense of the territory.

On the other hand, members of the defense council monitored and evaluated the practical activities planned to be developed in the different areas under the guidance and supervision of Kenia Cisneros Daudinot, first secretary of the Cuban Communist Party in the town and president of the municipal defense council.
