Public hearings on the electoral process in Mariel

Artemisa, Cuba ‘? Like in all the country, in the municipality of Mariel is developing during these days the hearing process to bring young people to the knowledge of the Cuban electoral system.

In the meetings are also presented the experiences of the students who participated as observers in the processes of accountability of the delegate to their voters and in the partial elections of 2012.

Delegates, members of the Communist Youth Union, hold talks with the young people about their role in the historical continuity of the Revolution.

Students from the urban Pre-university Pedro Ángel Delgado Carcache, workers of the Cement Factory and other institutions of the municipality of Mariel already participated in these public hearings.

Yarelis Chirino, the first secretary of the municipal committee of the UJC in this territory, explained that it is planned to conduct the hearings in centers of high concentration of young people with the objective of educating them and raising their knowledge about our political system.
