San Antonio de los Baños will continue to sow future

Issues related to training, work strategies for 2020 and actions to motivate technicians were discussed in the Balance Assembly of the National Association of Agricultural and Forest Technicians (ACTAF) in Ariguanabo.

Officials of the Communist Party of Cuba in the territory, members of the provincial secretariat of the association and base bodies of the ACTAF gathered to know the work done in the territory and the projections of the associates in the next years.

The assembly called to make visible the functioning of the ACTAF, generating ideas and action plans that contribute to the transformations of the Cuban socialist project, as well as mobilizing technicians and professionals in an active and protagonist way, towards the municipal agrarian development to improve people’s food.

Orlando Alejandro Acosta Virelles, president of ACTAF in the province of Artemisa, acknowledged the work carried out by the municipality and the results in Ariguanabo entities being one of the most important producers in the country. The leader also insisted on the preparation of young people and the process of improvement within the aspirations of each member.

The assembly had a space for the recognition and stimulation of outstanding affiliates. On this occasion, Carlos Alberto Rodríguez was awarded the ACTAF Prize for the Work of Life. Armando Chacón was ratified as president of the Municipal Executive. He expressed his commitment to the future of the association in San Antonio de los Baños and the tasks to be fulfilled to strengthen the work.
