Cuban Foreign Minister receives top Spanish official

Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez received in Havana on Monday Fernando Garcia Casas, Director of the Secretary-General Cabinet of the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), according to the ministry´s website.

During the meeting, both officials agreed on the good shape of bilateral relations and the willingness of both governments to work on strengthening them.

Garcia Casas also met with foreign deputy Minister Rogelio Sierra and discussed several international and bilateral issues. Both parties spoke of the good relations Cuba and the European Union enjoy after the signing of the Agreement on Political Dialogue and Cooperation last December
