Young students of Bauta for the history
Artemisa, Cuba – Students of the Pre-University Institute of Bauta Juan Evangelista Delgado González, held the contest of History of Cuba Recordar para no olvidar (Remember to not forget) in tribute to the resumption of the independence struggles on February 24, 1895 and to the memory of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Students coursing the 11grade led the meeting with ten investigative papers about the role of Cuban youth in the sands of Playa Girón, the Crime of Barbados, the fighting against bandits, the economic and financial blockade, the biological warfare against the Cuban people and the operation Peter Pan.
Rafael Aquino Herrera, professor of History of the Pre-University, highlighted the creativity of the young people by bringing the exhibition to a Round Table with the theme The Battle of Ideas and The Role of the Cuban Youth in Today’s Times.
The activity constituted a response of the youthful of Bauta to the pretensions of the circles of power of the United States.
