Inside the trade unions

Artemisa, Cuba – From June 21 to September 20 the assemblies of affiliates and workers will take place XXI Congress of the CTC, and the union movement in the province is prepared with the training of its base leaders about the process; as part of which the document Bases for the Strengthening of the Mission of the Cuban Trade Union Movement will be analyzed and discussed.

The management positions are now ready, the support materials are distributed and the timetables are drawn up in the 11 municipalities. The objective is not only to point out deficiencies and criticize, but to propose alternatives and solutions to improve results: it is up to the leaders to prepare well for the exchange of opinions, clarify and argue.

In these assemblies the pre candidates to delegates to the Congress and to members of the National Council of the CTC will be selected, since they will be an expression of democracy and participation of the workers. (Saimir Martínez Martín, member of the Secretariat of the CTC)
