Was developed the provincial festival “Singing to the sun” at Ariguanabo

The cinema theater Círculo de Artesanos (Circle of Artisans) hosted until Sunday the provincial festival “Singing to the Sun”with the aim of stimulating the creation of music for children and adolescents.

The event was sponsored by José Martí Pioneers Organization in the province, in conjunction with the Provincial Directorate of Culture and its institutions, and the Provincial Directorate of Education. The works were unique, themed for children and adolescents and interpreted in the following formats: soloists, duos, trios and quartets; all accompanied by back gruong.

Involved nearly 30 works, the performers are children and adolescents between 4 and 15 years old.

The festival also allowed expand the musical repertoire of child for dissemination and promotion through the mass media. And to have this kind of music, to work with children and adolescents in cultural and educational institutions along with the Art Instructors Brigade “José Martí”.
