New Series of Rules about Computing Security for Cuba

The ministry of Communications of Cuba is preparing a new series of rules for the local computing security, taking into account the progresses of the nation’s new computing and telecommunication technologies.

The Cuban News agency (AIN) points out that the new legislation could include aspects linked to the wireless networks or even increasing the availability about the related use of internet.

As long as the computing and telecommunication technologies could be improved, it would be more important to set the legal order and even not only to sanction some crimes only, given it is necessary the use of some rules which preserve its proper usage.
