Lopez Obrador is fine and leading Mexico

Mexico - Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is feeling great and leading the country from his confinement due to a slight impact of Covid-19, Secretary of the Interior Olga Sanchez said on Monday.

The official was appointed to lead the morning briefings at the National Palace, which the Mexican president has usually held every morning since he took office on December 1, 2018.

Olga Sanchez said that her appointment is solely and exclusively to direct the press conference and continue to meet the needs related to this circular and information dialogue, since the president is active in his executive function.

She assured that Lopez Obrador will be directing his morning conferences soon, because he is positively progressing and in the hands of very experienced health professionals.
